Giulio Bentivoglio (COO)

- Co-founded Kervis Asset Management in 2011 and is a Director of the Board leading the company operations 

- Giulio is currently member of the advisory board of several listed and private real estate funds 

- Responsible for asset management activity for Morgan Stanley was supervising SGRs and property managers as the owner’s representative for Private Equity and Institutional Value Add Investors in excess of €2bn 

- Morgan Stanley: Core/Core + Fund Manager and Member of the Morgan Stanley SGR Investment Committee (2004-2010) 

- CFO for Morgan Stanley Properties (NPL asset management company) leading refinancings of more than €1bn of NPLs (2004-2006) 

- He holds a degree in Finance and Economics cum laude

Federico Romito (Acquisition)

- Federico joined Kervis in 2013 and currently heads the Acquisition effort, supervising a team of 5 professionals

- Over the last 5 years Federico has underwritten real estate asset / portfolios in excess of €2bn, executing and closing more than 10 different investments

- Federico holds a degree in Finance cum laude from Bocconi University

Marco Polenta (CEO)

- Co-founded Kervis Asset Management in 2011, as Chairman of the Board led the company’s growth from 3 to 20 professionals

- Marco is currently member of the advisory board of several real estate funds and served on the Board of listed real estate companies in France and Germany (Board Member of Altarea and Supervisory Board of DIC)

- Previously Marco was Managing Director in Morgan Stanley, Head of European Real Estate Investing and Member of the Global Real Estate Investment Committee

- From 2003 to 2006 he was Head of Italy for Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing, a platform that reached more than €10bn of AuM in office, residential, NPLs and retail across multiple investment strategies

- Marco started his career in London as analyst in Morgan Stanley Investment Banking. He gained an engineering degree cum laude from Politecnico di Milano

Salvatore Smeriglio (NPLs)

- Joined Kervis in 2018 moving from Copernicus Servicing (a special servicer leader in the Spanish market), where he served as Head of NPL Servicing and supported the Spanish management to set up the Italian branch

- Previously he was Head of Due Diligence processes and NPL Director in Frontis S.p.A., managing several NPL portfolios on behalf of the Algebris fund and participating in the underwriting of more than 150 acquisition processes, including single names, bilaterals and the most important NPL/UTP portfolio sales in Italy.

- Over 15 years of experience in NPLs / UTPs, he worked in some of the most important Italian special servicers as Project Manager and Senior Loan Manager (FBS, Prelios, NPL S.p.a., Italfondiario);

- In 2004 Salvatore obtained a license to practice law and legal profession.

Giancarlo Patri (Asset Management)

- Giancarlo is a Partner and as Head of Asset Management oversees over €2bn of a wide range of investments between office, residential, logistic development and hotel

- Previously he was Head of Advisory in Namira SGR and earlier on Senior
Asset Manager at Natixis Capital Partners

- From 2006 to 2009 Giancarlo worked as Director in Tishman Speyer,
focusing on real estate developments in Italy

- He has also held various Asset Management positions in Italian management
platforms (Realty Partners, IPI)

- Giancarlo holds an engineering degree from Politecnico di Milano and is a
member of the Milan Order of Engineers

Guido Bastiani (Development Management)

- Guido became part of Kervis Team beginning 2018, after an experience of 4 years as a project manager at Prada Spa, coordinating the creation of Fondazione Prada (22,000 sqm) and various relevant stores in EMEA area

- From 2012 to 2014, Guido worked as project manager at DEGW, coordinating the development of the Nestlé Italia Milan Headquarter (€12MM budget) and the Deutsche Bank Milan headquarter (€12MM budget)

- In his previous experience, Guido coordinated many significant projects such as Armani Hotel (€80MM budget - 95 keys) and the new HQ of Emilia Romagna Region (€40MM budget)
